CPT

The College Placement Test is necessary for admission to Florida Community Colleges or for the Dual Enrollment Program for high school students.  There is no time limit on the test, and it usually takes two hours to complete.  There is no pass or fail, however, certain scores must be acheived in order to register for college level classes:   

                                   Reading - 83

                                   Sentence Skills - 83

                                   Elementary Algebra - 83 
 

The CPT is given quarterly in the Career Lab and pre-registration (CPT Admission Ticket and Sign In sheet) is required.  You must bring a current picture ID on test day - either your Driver's License or HCHS Student ID. 

The next CPT Test date at HCHS is:  April 29, 2010 - 7:30 am.
You MUST pre-register in Mrs. Roberts' office.  You MUST bring a Photo ID to the test to check in.
